You probably haven't heard anything truely good if you are considering Alphasonik good. Go listen to a car with a properly set up Rainbow component set driven by a high end amplifier, and you realise why people say Alphasonik sounds terrible.

My Rainbow 3-ways cost me $900 and it isn't even their bestline. They have one component set that runs $9,999. Figure a 3-way set of Rainbows driven by an ARC SE amplifier would cost you around $1700 or so without proper installation.

Exactly my point, im biulding the frontstage for less then 500 and it will suit me well. I dont need some Rainbow bullshit, thats just stupid IMO to spend 1700 dollars unless you where biulding a straight SQ system wich then 1700 isnt bad cause real SQ systems only have a strong front stage

Well shit, then give it to me.

Actually man, 1700 isn't that much for a front sound stage (SQ or SQL). You can do OK for 500, but 750 or so will get you ALOT better. The JL XRs are a perfect example of a most bang for your buck component set. Excelent SQ and SQL.

I did get a chance to hear an all alphasonik set up the other day, and was not impressed. But hay some people like the way Kicker L series subs sound. So to each his own.

Apparently there is NO talking you out of the Cliff Designs stuff, so just get it. You ask for opinions, then tell people their opinions are wrong. Just by the damn Cliff Designs crap already and don't cry to us when it goes to shit.

where did you see pioneer rev components for over 600??? u can get a pair for like 120 from ikesound? ask this guy where he got the bravox components. and i have listened to all the components except the carbon fiber and i was amazed with all of them for the price. if your stuck with cliff designgs and alphasonic then buy them but neither are held in high regard imo but what do i know? also RE just got bought out and they are changing over so wait about 2 weeks and you might get through.
