Cant get in contact with RE audio?

Post by BigMack6933 »

I really wanted to run a pair of Pioneer 306dvc 12''s in my girls car but I also through around the idea of a single SE 12'' sense I can get a hifonics bx1000d for 165+shipping brand new 1000rms on tap should be nice and give a few options... I know Im being cheap but I can get a pair of the 306dvc 12''s for 140 shipped and they are pretty loud in a good ported box, thats what im doing for. but i can also get a L5 15'' for 140+shipping........... I have sent 11 emails over the last 4 weeks and called 6 times to RE audio and have had no response at all...Any other idea on how to get a hold of someone? also if i buy something and it breaks will it always be this hard to contact them for repairs?

And this surprises you how? RE is known to have some of the most shitty customer service around. They want money, not to help you.

well they did refuse to help me what so ever when my Sx18 crapped out with recomended enclosure and power soo what other companies have what im looking for...the frontstage i will take care off for SQ and overall high output now
I just need a sub(s) to take care of the low end.doesnt have to be great SQ but no muddy funky pup sounding subs.... The pioneers are supposed to get pretty loud especially for a 60 dollar sub.... i was gunna put them in a 3.75-4.^ft3@34hz at2ohm(800rms) on the bx1000d but was also thinking of these because they are 150shipped an have a 5yr warranty http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6496.html or maybe a single one of these would be louder http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3747.html#

if your a dealer you can get a hold of them really easy. they pretty much dont want to deal with other people besides their deals but they still offer the service of direct buying (which saves you a ton of money) for people that dont have a dealer in their area. i have never had a problem with getting a hold of them since i became a dealer but before i became a dealer it was hell trying to get a hold of them. the SE is an awsome sub so if you get a chance i would get that.

I put it on another thread, but Peerless makes great stuff:

XXLS is in your price range and IMO is a better sub for the money. Madisound has FAR better tech support, good guys to deal with.

Thats pretty stupid. When I buy a product from a company I expect a certain degree of customer service/support, it sounds to me that RE isnt able to provide any of that at all.

It's funny how many people here don't like kicker, but kicker has some of the best customer service/support,good prices, and some nice products...

im sure if we have seen half of the warranty claims that people have sent to RE from not knowing how to install a product or abuse or something like that we wouldnt want to sell direct either.
