Ya those would work. They are right on the same level as the HIFI subs, just over double the price.
Obviously you are not interested in the HIFI subs and after something a little more familiar to you.
At this point just let me say this. You will be paying twice as much just for a familiar name. You can get two of these HIFI subs shipped for less than one of those Inifiti's shipped...

The hifi's are the same as the autoeks in my van and they are good for 152 plus lol.

Could always go with the RE RE series too. Actually they're the RE REX's now. About $55 per 12 and pretty decent little subs if you keep them within their limits. Thinkin about doin 4 of em in my Diamante. Also was considering the Hi Fi's.

Ive had the RE series, a few of them.
Decent subs for the money really.
But the HIFIs are still a better value and hold more power.
So the RE's are out for him.

Amps rated for 200x2 @ 4ohm. Would give two twelves just the right amount of power with it being a sony amp and all. Sounds like a perfect fit for the RE's actually.

Te RE series is DVC 4 Ohms.
Fail.

Major fail. The old series were single coil though correct? i'm almost positive they were or atleast were available in single coil cuz i had the RE8 and remember it being single 4. That's actually kind of disapointing for me. I wanted 4 single 4's!

Never eben SVC, always dual.
Way back when even though it wasnt advertised they had DVC 4 and DVC 2's.

Just looked up the old pic of my RE8 and it was indeed Dual 4. Bah
