No im not going to pass on Clif designs... The only way to test out a company is to buy them and try them. There is always resale. Everyone is on some kind of a budget. I havent put RE out the door completely but instead of a pair of RE 12''s I might try Incriminator audio 187 12''s.... And it might be too complicated yes, but achieving a particular look and sound is always just a Circit city install.Im glad alot of you guys dont mind taking time out to leave post Im learning alot more stuff then on other boards....PS whats wrong with the "squares"?

Well, i personally dont like the squares at all. Ive been thru 6 of them.BigMack6933 wrote:PS whats wrong with the "squares"?
The first 5 were all in sealed boxes, built to Kickers spec, recieving only 420 watts (they were 600 rms).
The first 5 all died.
The last one i had, i had to repair one of the tinsel leads that had snapped. I put that one in a ported box built to exact kicker specs, also recieving only 420 watts. That one also died.
So, i have not had good luck with kicker subs at all. I like their amps and round subs, but would not use their square sub as a daily driver sub. if you want a sub that will get loud, but die, then get it.

from what other people on here say Audiobahn just biulds the Clif designs stuff but is supposed to be pretty damn good. and if its biuld quality that sucks I dont see why they would offer a 5 year warranty. so for 150 bucks its worth finding out, i might like the company enough to run all CD and i might hate it and sell the stuff i buy. I have never done fiberglass on cars before. I biult a boat from fiberglass, repair surf boards and stuff on our yacht when my parents had money and I was a little kid. Ill just look for a good tutorial and follow directions, with reading skills and some common sense I dont see why I couldnt make it come out good.

Them Cliff Design subs are interesting. The surround makes it look like there is 10" of xmax...
I thought I seen a deal on these awhile back 2 12's for $100...

lol, no they wont.
How positive are you both of them subs are built exactly the same?
If your running them parallel or off a mono amp just let them share the same air space.
