In U.S. dollars, probably a little under $300 for one 12" level 3.

You can't wire two 4ohm svc subs together to present a 4ohm load... which is the ohm load your amp is designed to run at in one channel to produce the most power.

So, you can either wire two 4ohm svc subs together to present a 2ohm load or an 8ohm load. Presenting a 2ohm load to the amp you have will probably just put it in to protection mode. Presenting an 8ohm load to the amp you have will cause the amp to produce about half the power it's capable of.

well what ohm and voice coil do you recomend me getting for my amp since i will be wiring the 2 subs together

You'll need two 4ohm DVC subs if you're going to be using the amp you have. The voice coils of the subs will need to be wired in series and the wires coming from the amp will need to be connected to the subs in parallel. Wired this way will present the ohm load your amp was designed to run at.

There are diagrams all over the internet that can give you a visual of how the subs need to be wired. Probably right here on CAC as well.

We can always help you figure it out if/when you go this route.

There are other voice coil options you can go with but dual 4ohm is probably the most common.

Now you can figure out which option you would like most.

Ok. The infinity reference subs are decent, but really not much output from those. I would have gone for the Hifonics subs. They're a pretty darn good budget sub and for ryan's price you can't beat it. If you found them a few bucks cheaper online u may have not been looking at an authorized dealer. Anyways, judging by all ur questions you should really do some research before attempting to wire anything in an automobile. I saw you mention bridging your subs. You can't bridge a sub. You can bridge two channels on an amplifier to present one channel and in your case and most at a one 4 ohm load. You can throw every link you can find of different subs options on here but eventually people are gunna get tired of looking at it. Everyone here has suggested something that would suit you well. The biggest advice i can give you is research as much as you can before installing anything or take it to a professional and have it done. period.

Yes, if you want to run both subs with your amp bridged to one channel to produce 500rms at a 4ohm load, that would be how you'd want to wire two 4ohm dvc subs together to present a 4ohm load to your amp.

Make sure you wire that amp correctly. If you want to run that amp in bridged mode it has to be wired a certain way in order for it to work properly.

If you don't have the owners manual to follow the wiring diagram for that specific amp, mabey the Sony website will have it.

I don't have any experience with Infinity so I can't say. But they're the proper voice coil and rms handling you're looking for.
