You know if you're looking at the Camry, you might also want to take a look at the Altima.

My friend has an 04 and it's pretty nice, HID's, Leather, ect.

Just something else to consider.

Oh, when you take pics of all the cars if you don't have a place to upload them too, just email them to me and I'll host them on the server.

My friend has a 2000 or 2001 Maxima and he loves it. A coworker of mine leased a newer Maxima for the past 2 years and that was a really nice car. I know the new models are a little pricier compared to the other cars in their class, but they are sportier and the new V6 has a lot of horsepower.

New Camry doesn't look as good to me. Looks like somebody took a Mazda 3 and blew it up with an airhose. I liked the 3rd generation better than the rest of them.

Haven't really seen a midsize car that doesn't have a cheap looking interior in the last couple of years. More a sea of ABS plastic and the "mastery" of injection molding :unwell028 . At least when referring to those in the affordable range. I get rather tired of every car review pointing to interior "quality" being determined by how soft a manufacturer can make ABS plastic look.

haha yea i agree about the ABS Plastic... but its difficult to find a vehilcle interior that will stand up to the same amount of wear and tear as ABS Plastic ones, i think one of the huge advantages of ABS is the high resistance to sun exposure, alot of older vinal dashes always got bleached out or worse.... cracked

i dont like nissan that much there quality is severly lacking. for instance buddy of mine has a sentra se-r vspec or whatever the crazy numbers are here are his issues word for word
The 2.5L (QR25DE) engine has a problem where the precat in the exhaust manifold breaks down and the EGR system sucks in the particles. This scores the cylinder walls and causes oil consumption and eventual engine death. The same engines use a dual runner intake which has butterfly valves that open depending on engine load, RPM’s, etc. The screws holding these valves on sometimes come loose and get sucked into the engine. There was a recall for this but not everyone gets it done. I don’t know if mine has. The last thing is my clutch. If you push on the pedal after making a hard right turn the pedal will drop to the floor and you can’t shift but the clutch fork still travels past the point where the clutch should disengage. There’s a guy on the Nissan board that had the same problem and it turned out to be a pretty major problem where the thrust bearing on the engine crank would walk which would cause the entire clutch assembly to move with the clutch fork instead of just the throwout bearing. The spec V came out in ’02 which is what mine is, if I had to do it over again I’d get an ’03 or newer.
