Oh! This just occured to me, make sure the rear RCA out is switched to something other than pass (I believe that is what it's called). Mine is under the Audio menu button when you hold that down for two seconds. I'm not sure if your's has the same button, but I'd check that.

yeah i switched the settings and it didnt make any difference. you know how the balance is 0-25 on each R and L on the HU? well its even at 20...William from NOLA wrote:Oh! and i still cant figure out that constant noise coming out of the right tweeter...only the right tweeter does it.

no its still messed up, i have it balanced to 20 on one side.
im a bit hesitant doing this so here is my question
the right speaker is wayyy louder, therefore I think its getting more wattage than the left (but it might be the opposite, the left is getting less) but i dont think so becuase the speaker is incredibly loud at lowish volumes. Anyways, if it is getting more watts, its getting more heat. When you use the balance on a HU, is that (in the end) actually going to send the speaker less heat?
So basically does the balance tell the amp to send less output to one of the sides, or is it something more simple than that?
\where im going with this is although the speakers are now balanced, the right one might be getting too much constant wattage.
i dunno, just trying to think of anything that could be damaging until i do my false floor project.
thanks

This is starting to get really confusing. It may be time to take it into a shop and let them have a quick peak at it.
Never know, it may be just something that nobody can think of off hand, or something you may not have mentioned. Often times if they fix it under a few minutes they let ya walk for free
