Down..... Down boy, down.... Alright, you leave me no choice but to give you a spankin.... :happy055:Jonathan wrote:Stroke it to 347, put some AFR heads on it, Edelbrock intake with a Barry Grant carb, Hooker Super Comp headers and your muffler of choice. Does the ears good. And, of course, a monster cam to top it off. I prefer Comp Cams myself, the XE Rollers are pretty wicked on a 5.0

I agree,Jonathan wrote:Challenger gets the 6.1L 425hp Hemi. Should be badass.
Any truck is going to be a boat anchor compared to a performance car.
& Actually the 300 SRT-8 and Charger SRT-8 have that same motor!
Go test drive one of those....a fully loaded sedan that'll do 0-60 in under 6 seconds off the showroom floor.
It was a hell of a lot of fun!
P.S. Tons of Love for the old school power...But Godzilla is coming to the U.S.

Ok i love dodge and i will forever be a fan of all Mopar products, with the exception of the 1980's version of the Charger!BLAH
but... i would like to point something out, how much is the 300 srt8 or the Charger srt8?? Pretty expensive... If you like the luxurious controls and feel of the 300 by all means go and get somethign like that... i have always loved big plush vehicles but, if i wantted a car to go and do 0-60 under 6 seconds... I would rather take my money and buy a Lotus for Elise... that car is majorly fast, and is a great price for the money... i believe its something like $42 K?? In my opinion and i think Wolf will agree with me on this, The new Chargers are more than a far cry from the originals... for 30k i would buy a 68 or 69 charger RT 440 and drive that.

There is one exception to your truck selection that i would change... U gotta love the power windows when its either too hot or it starts raining on ya... I have no Air in my truck, no power anything... I hate having to either pull over to the side of the road to crank my windows up or down when its raining... But one truck i would love to have is def the Dodge ram 2500 With Hemi and 6spd std tranny 4x4. Ground clearance on that Bad boy is nuts and will go up a fricken wall with the 4low.smoker wrote:no shit....why have heated power seats, leather interior,47 cupholders, (well i kinda like the cupholders)

Heheh i dont have any carpet and no passenger but i left my window's open a week ago and it poured, well yea lets just say there was a flood in my truck, luckily nothing got on my system, and now my rubber mat on the floor, under that is the heatshield/insulation/sound deadener, smells rank and is still soaking wet.
Hell, I have a neighbor who has over 1.2million miles on his 98 Cummins 2500.
He just recently bought the new Megacab Cummins and loves it even more. I would buy one to pull my mark to shows, but I have my heart set on a Lincoln Mark LT. I know it is an F150 with fancy duds, but to have a Lincoln pulling a Lincoln to shows, well that just makes a statement to me.

I remember when the Blackwood first came out and only a limited production amt was set... No one had them, but still they were awesome trucks and the people that have them, at least the one i know who has one, loves it and have never had any problems with it and even uses it as his site truck (he owns a construction company) Is the New Mark going to be just like the Old Blackwood?
