Oh yeah, the amp get hot. Iv'e been running it like this for about a year. Must be a good amp:} I would like to know what ohm it is. The pic came back after your last post.

Are you asking if it's 4 ohm stable or 4 channel?

Currently you've got the coils in parallel and the subs series wired, which makes it a final 4 ohm load.

I've seen them wired like that, doesn't make it right
You need to rewire them like the RF page shows. You'll see an improvement if the subs are firing the same way.

In case you're wondering the reasoning, it's undesirable to have subwoofers wired in series. Wiring the voice coils in series isn't as big an issue. By wiring subs in parallel, you're avoiding potential phase shifts due to the inductance of the driver.

That A1200 is a pretty good size amp for these subs wouldn't you think?

I just pulled one of the speakers out and on the back it says 2/8 impedance, Dual 4 ohm Voice coils. Doe's this me it can be run from 2 to 8 ohms?
