I thought I had read something about the F#1's being based on ScanSpeak drivers!! That just sparked my mind as to where I'd heard of SS before. I dunno...more talk in the other thread about my g...

Oh, and I refuse to respond to someone's "Whoa that sounds good, what's in that thing?" question with "Pioneer comps". I'm sorry, but my pride just drives me above that, whether it's a good speaker or not. I know, it's probably foolish, but it's a pride thing after selling Pioneer for so long at Circuit City. :barf:

I doubt the PRS comps are the crap that you sell at Circuit City. The PRS comps/amps are actually pretty decent.

Hmmmm I may look into them, but it's doubtful. Like I said, I'm sure it's foolish, but it's a pride thing.

I'm sure just cause CC goes through a buttload of the baseline Pioneer head units it wouldn't stop you from buying one of there upper level units, so why should this be any different.

Yes, actually it did...I was going to buy a PioPremier 980(?) and decided not to because of the reputation pioneer has of falling apart. I'd rather own a $1000 Clarion deck than a $1000 Pioneer deck--multimedia or otherwise.

Clarion does have some damn nice head units though, so I don't think you went wrong there.
