yes it has i still use it and many many other guys win hundreds of shows with the 2150's. 1 2150 was enough to keep a ford bronco running all the way back from kentucky after a show and the alternator failed. and mind you it did it without a charge. i wouldnt hit a wet dog in the ass with a kinetic anymore. there getting caught with there hand in the cookie jar and there riding there name. its about time this shit came to light. tell me how many guys scratch that competitive guys in dbdrag street or street max classes use kinetic? i cant think of 1 but i can think of 3 names using the 2150's sure scott owens uses kinetic and has for years there batteries they do produce electricity and im sure he got one hell of a deal on them.

what competion body are you talking about because it sure sounds a lot like your just spouting shit. ive put the kinetic up against a 2150 and the kintec wasnt worth a damn. and trust me im sponser'd by them i get there batteries pretty damn cheap but i still choose to pay more for the 2150's and have a better battery. sounds to me like your a typical fan boy and just doesnt want to take the bad news. or your a company sack rider because it seems like you joined this forum just for this post which wouldn't surprise me at all.

I just noticed you also said you know a guy running a 4kw amp with 2 2150s. now i know of 5 people here on this board that will attest to the fact that i had 2 MM4000.1's and 2 2150's in my Buick with no alternator and i didn't have a single failure. on either amp or battery.

^ 2nded... And I saw it do it time and time again since all the testing was done here.

Now I'm not downing the quality of Kinetik as they are still an improvement over your typical lead/ acid battery and even an improvement over Optima, but there are better batts out there like the 2150s.

alot more than scott owens uses kinetik and there as you can see more than 1 org.

i dont doubt you have good use out of your batteries that wasnt why i said what i said. point of where people say something is good or best someone else will have something bad. be it multiple failures down to the color of the battery case and anything in between. people have used what i have used and people have used what has failed for me but has worked well for them and in MANY cases vice versa.

About the hand caught in the cookie jar, has their been anything proven in the court of law? i havent read anything as of yet stateing there has and if you read it you can see it isnt even AUDIO related. so in that sense as of now isnt it just an advertisment campaign? also the company in the suit for some strange reason went away from those types of specs on their audio batteries and just posts "MAX AMPS" and AH as the specs on their sites. Much like the battery company they are going after? intresting isn't it? imo just sounds like a smear campain because someone out sells them then copy what they do LOL. by all means consider me a kinetik user. it works for me but at the same time i didnt make a thread about an advertisment/press release that hasnt been proven yet nor have i insulted anyone.

Personally I dont care either which way... I guess there comes a point when you have to wonder about the owners of a computer store just going out and developing batteries out of the blue?

I dont know everything and all involved... But from my understanding these people own a small/shitty computer chain in Toledo. Now all the sudden they got break thru technology batteries?

I dont know the people first hand, but know the owners a cock bite. And for being a cock bite I hope karma gets him (ya theres a personal issue).

Speaking from a hobbyist point and seeing what ive seen (only here) it would be nice to get all the info or at least a link to the relative info.

It is funny someone sign up out of the blue to argue about such a topic. much like Fubar over our GBU list... lol But anyways, welcome to the board.

Lol dude you dont even know. since when does kinetic make batteries for racing? there 16v battery is the one in question much like the powermaster. ive asked you name any body in the street classes that run kinetic where the battery is a huge huge deal? in the extreme classes you can run as many batteries as you want. alan dante who as much as i hate him is just as loud if not louder than owen's and he uses powermaster so stick to your lil omg kinetic isnt bad campaign but after competing for 4 years and seeing the kind of failure's they produce ill will never buy a kinetic. this is just another nail in the coffin for a bullshit company with a bullshit product. go do some research on your beloved kinetic and find out who actually manufactures the batteries and read about the rebadging i think you will be surprised. have fun good sir and enjoy your battery
