I would, but mounting depth :( It's a bitch

I think Pioneers. I haven't been able to hear any CVT's. Sorry I doubted you Bill, lol. Ok, so it wasn't really doubt, just confusion before.

Anyone here want to sell me some Pioneer TS-SW1241D (two)? (I'm speaking to you shop guys)

Most of the stealthboxes are hard to beat for overall performance for the space. I.E. all I've heard sound better than most installers could do using that area of the vehicle much less the average enthusiast.

But that particular stealthbox for the tundra doesn't look to be too difficult to duplicate. It'd be a pretty simple enclosure to make, the majority you could make with MDF realistically.

Yea, that was one of the reasons for me wanting a stealthbox.

I can already make a box entirely of MDF; it just won't use up all the available space. I'm probably going to use .5" MDF rather than my usual .75" thickness to gain a tad more volume and mind my mounting depth.

I made a scale drawing of the sealed box for 2 12's downfiring:

if you use 1/2 grab yourself a couple bags of fiberglass matt and resin it to all the sides. will make a huge diffrence.

on a box that small i wouldnt bother with the resin and matt but on another note the sq of the pioneer shallow mounts suck bad.... how much depth do you have? i have personally used the shallow pioneers and was none too happy with them. they get decently loud but sound like a sweaty fat gals back fat when shes jumpin on the trampoline.....

I have a maximum of 6 inches total, including box thickness and xmax of the sub. I would give it about a 4.5" mounting depth.

Now, I may be able to forward fire 3 8" subs as long as the magnet isn't too fat.

This is the space I have to work with (the bottom/last 4 pics):

Can you put some spacers under the seat bolts themselves and get yourself another inch or so? Maybe have some brackets made that could get your another couple inches? Then you'd have a bit more flexibility.
