Accent yes...Rio No... I've known way to many people that have had their Rios worked on way to much... I mean who cares what the warranty is if it spends more time at the dealership then in your drivewayJASON96R wrote:I would add Hyundai Accent, and the Kia Rio to that list. I do the math every time I go to the pump with the Monte... Almost all in town driving and still get an average of 20-22 MPG... Not to bad for a 3.8ltr with over 100K miles on it.

That is great for in town MPG, the 3.8L is a very good engine though. My question is how many miles have you had the car, and from previous posts I believe you to be someone as meticulous about maintenance as I am. Not only will your car last longer, but it will have better MPG if you just do the basics everyone should be able to do.

Actually it's kinda funny, cause yeah I treat my car right by giving it full synthetic oil changes, but I found that I get better in town mileage when I put in 89 (plus) octane over 87 (regular)... and it's a big difference (3-4 MPG), so what I pay at the pump may seem like more, but I get a lil further on it, so it equals outJASON96R wrote:That is great for in town MPG, the 3.8L is a very good engine though.
