So you bridged the amp.

Is your sub wired at 2 or 4 ohm? If it was wired at 2 ohms, and you bridged that sony amp, you probably blew it. Sony amps don't like seeing 2 ohms bridged.

Here is what you do. First, you take that amp, use some left over fireworks and blow up whatever you can. Then, take a hammer and smash it. Third, buy a new amp. Sony amps are cheap, but there are tons of better amps, for reasonable prices. I have learned from here that members have some pretty sweet stuff they like to sell from time to time, and internet sites are pretty useful as well. Maybe look on ebay and pick up something.

5 minutes on a sony amp from a pawn shop... I'd say you're already ahead of the game. I mean you really have no idea how long it was run before you got it and how much abuse it saw before you got it.
And that amp with a 60A fuse... ouch probably should have been 40A.
Rule #1 Never buy ca audio equipment from a pawn shop unless it's really good equipment, really cheap and worth fixing.
Rule #2 Never buy Sony... I'd take a Kmart Blue light special Audiovox over Sony.

Stick around and you'll get a better idea of what's better out there and you might even come across a good deal every now and again, cause there are a few dealers like me here.

Aight I got the amp working now it was the fuse on the amp that was blown, so I had to put a 40 fuse on the amp so it wont blow. But now the amp goes into pertection mode everytime the volume is cranked up high I still got the 60 fuse under the hood imma change it to 40 and see if will play longer. Anyone knows why it goes into pertection mode?

Use the fuse size that is SPECIFIED on the AMP or in the amp's MANUAL.
Amps can go into protect mode due to a myriad of reasons including, but not limited to: Bad ground/power, improper gain setting, hooking up a speaker with lower than supported resistance (ohms), voltage sags, etc.

exatcly use the correct size fuse and it sounds like your gains are to high. i think you should take this to a pro and have them fix it.

Hmmm. kinda sounds like he is trying to run it at 2 ohms bridged,

Sorry I had to be a pain.

But the guys are right, DON'T PUT A BIGGER FUSE. If the original size blew, putting a bigger one isn't going to help.
