Saab radio...

Post by thebigo »

So my friend has a '92 Saab 900 Turbo and is looking to get a new radio. He has a stock Clarion system in his car with a CD changer in the dash, would he be able to use that CD changer if he bought a Clarion h/u(or any h/u for that matter)?

My suggestion is to keep the stock radio, add on crossovers and amp with some component speakers. It should sound pretty good and still have a stock look, more anti-theft stuff. If i could find a stock radio for my car i would gladly have that over my pioneer... Only problem is there is some major wiring undertaking and the cost of a stock radio for my car 200+ for a non working one...

But i am not sure if it would work, i would call clarion.

Well, he kinda tripped the anit-theft thing and doesn't know the code, so it doesn't work at all...

^The local Saab dealer should be able to help you with that.
