Dude, it's 19 dollars more to do it the right way (color matched).
Seriously, go pick up soda cans or something.

Really? Well i am going to have to wait on it... It turns out that the tonneau cover has a massive spider webbing crack all down the center... Its not that bad but I brought my dad with me to see it (Since he was going to go in on half)
He first was like Marroon is a supid color Jay...
Second he was like thats a piece of shit Jay...
Third he was like Your an idiot for making me drive out here Jay
So i was like F this i need a Beer Dad! lol
So really and truely its going to have to wait... But still im going to sell my sub
So far no takers...
But at least this thread educated me a lot on painting and what not. I def did some extra reading on it.

Black is a hard color to paint. Now you probably not care about it looking great, so if you want it do it. Go to a car show once and you will see the nice looking jet black cars, which many will look great from 50ft even 20ft away but get close and as said before everything shows up. Dark colors are that way but more so with black, and I'm sure you know the cleaning issues with black. In your first post you have a good idea on what to do, but remember your prep work is the most important part of painting. I usually use paint thinner before I sand, but I honestly have never painted on top of fiberglass, as I am at home painter, so I don't know if it like painting plastic or if there is anyother technique you would have to use.
