Phase Linear question

Hello all I have the Phase Linear uv7i and I am having trouble with the display when the screen is closed. The display gets real dark to the point of not being able to read it. I was wondering if this was a feature or a glitch with this unit. Also if anyone has the same one and has had the same problem or knows how to fix it please help...it drives me nuts

never had a problem with it. ive actually been thinking of getting one for my monte.

I was screwing around with that same model at Pep boys the other day. Seemed like a alright deck. How are they quality wise? How many sets of pre-outs and voltage?

Try turning the dimmer off?

Like Terry, We've never encountered a problem with them.
And they have 1 Video out, 1 Video In, 2 RCA outs

I can't find a dimmer button or anything. The display button doesn't work on that problem. I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how to change it. This unit is nice but when working with the ipod it becomes very annoying, that would be a key area for a touchscreen
