JBL Reviews?
Lookin for anyone that has ever owned or a JBL BP series amp. I'm thinkin about buyin the 600.1 to power the RE sx15". I just want to know if anyones heard anything particulary bad or good about this line of amps. Just tryin to do a little more research about the amps before purchasing them. If i do i'm gunna take advantage of the one's they're getting rid of on cardomain :)

two tricks:
use a pair of RCA Y-splitters so all 4 RCA inputs get signal.
the amp performs best this way.
also, if you use a ported box for the sub, swing by partsexpress.com and pick up an RCA level FMOD 16Hz high-pass "subsonic" filter since there's no ssf built into the JBL BP amps.
good amplifiers though. great deal for the price.

sx
if ur gettin an sx why not get the jbl 1200.1 I mean im sure it could handle the extra 200 watts and i doubt it would even get that depending on how loud your system was turned up. Im still beatin myself over the 2 12s or 1 15 debate, i really like 2 12s cause it would have extra spl.

You're the second person that has told me the sx15 sub can handle more than 1000 watts. Not sure if i should risk it though. Actually i was told this sub can handle 2000 all day. Again, I saw why risk it if i could get it to its full excursion at as little as 600? Also i was wondering how much 2 sx12's will cost you?

the 20Hz filter is just fine. I couldn't remember the exact freq.
I knew the FMOD was between 16 and 25Hz.
you want two of these, first item listed:
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMaste ... rconnects#
"Karma Kable Y adapter 1F2M RCA Kable
Item #: KAR-1F2M
Category: RCA Interconnects
Price: $3.99*
also, I'd probably take the JBL amp myself, but I guess DEI/Viper are ok.
They also make a/d/s, Orion, PPI, and several other product brands now.
