2 type R's and that brutis 1206 would be a decent combo. However they wont "bump" to your expectations in a prefabbed box. I would pm terry (smoker) about these products, or possibly something else. I have had a friend who bought an amp from sonic electronix, it broke, and it took over 3 months to get it back :O

Here's pretty much the layout you'll want for a good system with the Alpine Type Rs... Get 2 of the Dual 4 ohm Voice coil Type Rs so they can be run in parallel and that will equal a 1ohm load... so the amp you'll need will have to be a 1ohm stable (preferably a class D, as they run more efficient).
One thing that I feel that I should point out is that Sonic is Not an authorized dealer for many of the items they carry, so you may or may not get good service if problems ever arise (just throwing that out for safety precautions).

Now on to the amp... since your subs will be 500w Rms each (and these can handle a lil more than that), the optimum amp would be a Class D 1 channel that is capable of 1000w Rms @ 1ohm... for this you'll probably spend upwards of $200 dollars or more, but you'll be happier in the long run as that Power Acoustik will not run as clean a power and puts out nowhere near the amount of power the Type Rs are capable of.

You'll find that most here will NOT recommend a capacitor, as they really don't do a lot of good... especially on your alternator... read this in the FAQ section about caps:http://www.caraudiocentral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1888
Now brings up the question of what vehicle do you have?
Some vehicles are fully capable of supporting up to a 1000wrms amplifier with the stock alternator with only the big 3 wiring upgrade done... while others may need to have the alternator replaced to handle the extra juice being drawn from the system.

That FAQ is an excellent resource.
