Ah, but you assume wrong :) , I go for taste as well. I think you've just tasted some of the wrong beers.
Try some of these one day:
Flensburger Pilsener (yummy)
Spaten Optimator
Pittinger (not sure if available in US)
Red Stripe
Guiness
Warsteiner
Shiner Bock
TsingTao
Abita Select
Sam Adams Summer Ale
Becks
Honey Brown (weaker, but good flavor)
I know I'll be kicking myself when I think of some real good ones that I forgot.
As for Bud and the light variety... anymore it just gives me a headache and not worth the time like a lot of other lesser beers. I drink beer to enjoy the taste and not to get tipsy or drunk... Nothin like getting to the bottom of a coddled lager that has turned warm... That's a true Beer right there

Once you've been drinking GOOD beer for a while it's hard to go back :happy055:JeremyC wrote:Yeah I used to love bud light. Now I just can't drink it.
I felt so weird last time I was in the states. I was the guy at the bar asking what imports they have.
Thank god that had some becks.

in ky they can pull you over for drinking and driving a tractor even if your on your own property......a buddy of mines mom works for a judge and she wont let him have a beer while hes on the lawn mower because her boss judged a case where a guy had a sixer on the hood of his tractor and was drinking while bushhogging his land and he was visible from the road and got busted...
