Well as we are seeing... Both trucks have their ups and downs, and as Jonathon stated. Chevy trucks have always held a good resale value... when they've been takin care of... see that's the thing most of you are not looking at. The Chevy truck has been around forever and the majority of them used as workhorses where as the Toyotas are still trying to gain in that market. Now when you look at a used Chevy you have to ask "Was this a work truck?" as the abuse of being a daily beater is what brings down the value, not the vehicle brand itself... Look at a Toyota, and maybe 1 out of every 20 is used as a true workhorse, so naturally the trucks that are maintained will hold a higher resale.
Just my 2 cents on the theories of Chevy vs. Toyota

My personal opinion is if you just want a nice car... definitely go with the Camry... V6 though, its an awesome car, rides nice, and has a great engine in it... Takes a while to break it in to get that 28mpg that it says it gets

I was really not liking the new Tundra's at all when all the photos started coming out on the web, but now I'm starting to see them on the Road, and they are really looking nice. I keep seeing a silver one driving around and it looks good.
