Find a thick piece of material used for structure in your car... Not just some random bolt

I thought power wire induced noise was one of those myths debunked by Richard Clark. Basically yeah, current running through a wire can induce noise in an adjacent rca cable, but fortunately for us the only time we get a lot of current running through a power wire is when the music is cranked and when its cranked this noise is minor enough in comparison to be inaudible.Bwcad1 wrote:alt whine where is your ground? and keep your RCA's away from your power wire
As previously stated... look for a better ground... frame bolts work best (example: strut tower)

Very true... I've fixed this problem on a couple of customers cars and my son in-laws lil brothers vehicle... All of them just trying to save time installing everything down the same side of the vehicle and they got a funny static through the system... seperate and I'll be, no more funny staticBwcad1 wrote:nah its true i've experienced it first hand search the forum for it you will see a huge topic on it
