So uhm, that looked painful...

Post by MobileAudio219 »

So uhm, I was over at my cousin today helping him work on his house (we're remodeling it) and every hour or so we cool outside and ride fourwheelers for a while to cool off... Well his girlfriend came over and he was showing off, hauling ass through an S turn (drifting) when suddenly he caught traction or something because he got thrown off the quad and into the air & does 3-4 summersault before hitting the ground and slidding about 20ft... The quad flips over 4-5 times and finally stops upside down...

At this time I'm like (Ohhhh F*ck, he's dead). So I go running over there and I see him with a big smile on his face "tell me it atleast looked cool"... :sad017:

He has a good sized bruise on his side and shoulder, and a few little cuts and wounds, but he said it wasnt to bad... Ahh, but after a couple of hours it was getting sore... wait until tomorrow when we work 13-14 hours... :happy055: :sad017:

He just paid 5,200 dollars for it less than a month ago... he bent the handle bars, knocked the frontend out of alignment, and broke some plastic around the gas tank... Its an 06 suzuki 400 quad sport...

NOTE: We were just reading in the paper about a kid who was riding his bike (pedal bike, 10 speed) with friends and they went down a BIG hill and his brakes didnt work and he gained a ton of speed before hitting a tree... He's in a coma right now and has masses brain sewelling... They said he hit the tree at over 40 mph, head on...

I told my cousin he was real lucky this wasnt a repeat of that, because he just came out of the woods and into the field... 20ft earlier, and he would of hit some major tree-age...

yeah, I really wish I had the video camera with me... He looked like a rag doll flying through the air...

We did some pretty dumb stuff growing up so we are pretty good about getting up after falling hard...

"I bet you 5 bucks you cant climb that tree to that branch up there, jump off and clear that barb wire fence."

"Oh yeah, watch me!".....

Boof, bang, owww, ouch, crack.....

"Dude come on, quit bleeding, it makes you look like a girl..." :bow

True story.... :happy055:

I remember those days all too well as we didn't have all the video games and other past times that are available now...
Example: We actually tore down a beat up Chevette and made our own Go-cart... the damn thing did 80mph and had an exhaust pipe rollbar... yeah the Chevette came with seat belts, but did we put them back in... Hell No! We used to climb on the back of the thing and try to throw each other off out in the woods :p
I guess we were all stupid kids once :p

My uncle and I build this sweet go cart when I was around 12... When we got it finished he wanted me to take it through the pond to test the off road capabilities...

Now the pond only had a couple inches of water (it dried out in the summer) but it was MUDDY... So I drove through the side and still almost got stuck, and got covered in mudd in the process...

My uncle was laughing and was trying to talk me into going through the center... After about 5 mins of nagging (it'll make it, just get a run, its just a little mudd, dont be scared) he finally convinced me..

So I got a run, to big of a run... about 30 mph... Hit the bank, got to the center of the pond, lost it, hit the other bank sideways... landed, didnt flip, but ripped the rear end off and stopped nearly insteadly.... haha, ouch... :happy055:

We had it fixed that same day, but didnt attempt the pond again... My mom always hated it, because I would always come home dirty and with my clothes stained.. wait, that didnt sound good... you know what i meant...
