double half din?

okay i have a 97 mustang cobra and it has two 1 din slots. So in one i have an alpine cva-1004 multimedia center which is a tuner and a 6.5 moterized screen. in the other i have a half din alpine eq.... Is there such thing as mounting 2 half dins in a single 1 din slot? I want to install a half din dvd player.

Might take a lil fabricating, but anything like that can be done with a lil ingeniuty :)

pretty easy on that car.......you just have to make brackets out of backstrap to bolt the 2 units together and then figure out how to mount them, id try to fit them into a single din sleeve and maybe finish it offf with a trim ring

closest we ever did to something like that was a double din to single (h/u) with a 1/2 din EQ... we cut the pocket out of another install kit and used that for the bottom half of a double din kit.
