cargodz told me that i need to build a ported box that is 63"W x 21"T x 21"D for my 18's

any possibility i can get you to use ur cool little program and make me a picture of what this box should look like completed, including in your opinion were the ports should be and what size.the manual that came with the subs recomends 3 - 4" ports that are 16" long.

it can be as good or as bad as u want, i dont want u to take up ur hole daye makin the pic or anything, i just kinda need a visual to look at as i build it. the sealed box is ez, the ports are my problem.

ps. anyone else that has experience building boxes and could make me a picture, it would be helpfull, i just figure bill had quite a bit of experience with spl, and i im sarting to lean more and more tord going that direction.

Dude...

Just like a sealed with 3 4" holes in it then.

Try to keep the ports 4" from the walls of the enclosure...

i woud love to have you help if we lived closer, but not only do i like getting my hands dirty and learning stuff as i go along, i also think shipping would kill me.

i have all the tools to do it, ive just never built something that is so complicated, i normally make little single ported boxes for like an 8 inch sub.

im gonna use broach cutters (look like a drill bit with a round sw aroudn ti and cuts a perfect circle) to cut out the port holes.

and i have a um, wut the hell is that thing called, the saw that the blade looks like a drill bit and u trace the line.

then both a circular saw and a table saw to cut the squares

the website says

8.4" mounting depth
18.7" mounting diameter

is that what you need?

Actually the mounting depth is 8.9" and the mounting diameter on those is 16.7" ;)
Thought I'd throw that in real quick before Bill makes up a design and then you start cutting later on down the road and your subs fall through the holes.
