I was looking at some auctions on ebay and I found a lot of Rockford Fosgate equipment that was listed as 'old school' and it seemed to be going for high dollar amounts. I have heard that their current stuff is not as good, and some consider their older 80's and 90's products to be very good (as in the G,B,&U list).
I was wondering if anyone knew at what point their quality began to drop? One example I know of is an punch 800.2a amp that is going for almost $160 on ebay with about 3 days left. It seems to be in okay condition and the owner said it was a 97, 98, or 99 model. Is there any cut off that one could follow to determine if one of their products is worth the price?
