free sub and amp

so my aunt accidentally bought a jeep on ebay (how you do that, i dont know). it had a system in it that she didnt like, too much bass for her. so since my birthday was last month, she decided she would give me the sub and amp for free. I'm not gonna complain about anything thats free, but i wanted to ask you guys whether this sub was decent or not.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but going by size and look...i think its this

Anything is good if its free, i just wanted to get idea of what im working with.

It's not a bad quality sub.... rockford fosgate makes pretty ok stuff.... but it is their lowest line of subs. So it is like most other low line subs and doesnt offer much really.

its not that bad .... its pretty decent. ... coming for free should be welcomed with open arms and close eyes ........ btw what amp do you get ?

i didnt get the amp from them yet because they havent taken it out and its getting some work done, all i know is that its a kicker

Nice. Should make for a decent setup. Nothing amazing, but certainly nothing to scoff at.

thanks, thats kinda what i was thinking, but wasn't sure. and hey, if its free, ill take it, maybe upgrade later. i was gonna set it up with a pioneer h/u and speakers. i have a question about the speakers though...i was told that i might not want to bother doing the rear speakers (its an extended cab Tacoma) because the sub back there will drown them out anyways. would i be ok with just doing the door speakers? or will having the rear ones make a difference?

i would be too, but i haven't seen it yet.

what does everybody think about my speaker situation? will replacing the door speakers be enough? or should i do all 4?
