Well I Am Ticked Off

I just got a call from a place I was supposed to interview with today, that my interviewer is sick and can't do the interview. Usually, I could reschedule but the place is a new medical supply company that pays $15 starting wage, around were I live some $9/hr jobs require a Bachelors. Anyway they are having open hiring at a Hotel, and you just had to call in and get scheduled for an interview with someone. The guy didn't say how many people were conducting the interviews but that everyone had over 100 people each to interview, so I along with others could not be divided up among the other interviewers. They are trying to fill 75 jobs, and he did say that I was 3rd person put on that list, so if they don't fill all the jobs I will be the 3rd person called for an interview.

In my area no one pays well and with this company you can get paid $15/hr starting, and that 100's of people would interview. But it sucks I don't even get my chance. Sounds like there are still hundreds of people to interview and all the jobs will get filled, they did want people to start work immediately.

Doesn't matter something else will always come along.

If I were you I would go to the Hotel anyway and try to get myself in. It will certainly make you appear better to the company. That sucks what happened though, best of luck finding a job.

I actually did go to the hotel anyway, to see if I could take someones spot who didn't show up, and no dice. I did go ahead and apply at the Hotel because they happened to be hiring, not what I want but that is something I guess.

I was mad at first, but everything happens for a reason. I am about to graduate with a Bachelors degree, and that job isn't really what I was looking for anyway. Just paid well especially for this area.

Clyde area doesnt have much for jobs. Have to head to Sandusky/Norwalk areas for work.

i'm mad too. my laptop charger died again so within 15 minutes i'm fucked.

god damn POS HP and their chargers. this is the 2nd one thats died... all i do is plug it in. they eventually come loose and after a few months they are junk.

Sorry to hear about the job. Hopefully once you get your bachelors, you'll be making a lot more than $15/hr.

I actually just applied for a job at Delphi today. I hope that I am able to find a better/high paying job after my Bachelors too, but I plan to get my Masters before I really start searching. I would like to be a counterterrorist analyst in the future, and that means I will be moving out of Ohio but don't know how soon. I mean after my current courses I am about 6 away from a Bachelors degree and I do know some Arabic and Korean(Hangul).
