Wrong cadence was reallt awesome in the 90's. Now there stuff is produced by another company. Cadence was one of the first to introduce the solobaric subs and there subs were killer!

That bit of info may predate my start in the hobby, but I remember plain as day the round kicker solobarics. Could you possibly be confused?

I would keep the CDTs over them.

It seems a few years back (2-4) Cadence put out some amps that were pretty damned good at a bargain price. Havent heard much on their speakers.

The only thing remotely special about the old round Solobarics were that they performed well in a small box back then, which was around 1 cubic feet...

As Ryan stated... Cadence was very well known for good amps at good prices, but have kinda fallen out of the public eye.
As for the speaker choice... I would stick with the cdts
