That blows... literly!

Post by MobileAudio219 »

So about 2 weeks ago my sister bought a cheap buick that seem to run good other than needing a few little things and a REALLY good cleaning.

The car was pretty dirty but that was nothing considering the smell... Omg, I think a circus clown took a dump in a skunks mouth and then beat it to death leaving it dead in triple digit heat with the windows up... Yeah, it was that bad!

So I spent a couple days pulling the ENTIRE interior out, power washing/scrubbing them clean at the car was, letting them dry, reinstalling them, detaling the whole car, putting front brakes on it, have tires put on it and getting it inspected...

Then I went to drive it to her house to her (10 miles top) and the fucking oil light comes and so I pull over as fast as I can but the fucker is already knocking... All the damn work for nothing, oil pump failed, bearings/crank are probably effed, car is about to meet the crusher...

So now I'm either going to sell the blazer and by her a car (she cant drive a stick), trade it for a decent car, or give her the blazer and try to teach her how to drive it... Other than a few small things the blazer is in great shape so should provide her YEARS of quality service...

I hate the 60 degree p.o.s motors, nothing but junk...

I swear, if the mustang isnt done on sunday it will probably be enough to make me snap... :sad017: :unwell028 :help:

Damn, that absolutly sucks. Maybe you will get lucky and everything will be fine. Lift the motor some, and pull the oil pan.

Probably cant do that.

The 60 degree's have bolts going across into the block, not just vertical...

Good luck with it. I like the 60s.

the exterior condition of a car is often a good indicator of how well the internals were taken care of as well.

haha, except for mine, interrior/exterrior was in great shape for 150 k miles, 3 months after having the car the engine blew, upon pulling the head off, we noticed anti-sieze on the gasket (or what was left of it) then found one of the pistons to be crushed up metal, and the pan to be full of metal chunks. What made me scratch my head is that it was owned by an elderly person (mabe im the 3rd owner?) but i got a used moter and it has been running great since :)

Im just staring out with my questionable recent Saturn purchase...

Im upto $600 in parts, not including a head rebuild and an engine block hot dip to clean it... So Im guessing $1K...

Oh and the new radiator must of been a new junk yard radiator, fucker is cracked!

Im pissed at this point. Wish I wouldnt have bought the car...
