Best Amp
i am looking for an amp that will be suitable for what i am doing to my car. heres a little info...i have two polk/momo 10" subs. they are going into a custom enclosure in my trunk. i am looking for a good reliable amp that can power both subs without any strain on the system. the system in the car is stock for now. not sure on which headunit i am going with but it will probably be a 7" flip out screen. all the speakers in the car will be polks due to the fact that i got all of them for dirt cheap. :help:

i dont really give a dam about the max wattage either...yea they are 4 ohm. and yes i do know what rms is. the box actually said that the rms was 50-300 watts. i have put together systems before with just some basic stuff but what i am trying to do now is build a nice clean looking system.Bwcad1 wrote:ok what ohm? im assuming 4. i don't give a shit about max wattage and neither should you haha. do you know what the RMS is? u said 300 max rms lol? i would say you need a 600w 2 ohm amp. so look at the autotek 1000.1
I'll second smoker on the Fusion for cost and reliablity... the Autoteks are nice but at a heftier price.
