well i was listening to the dave matthews live at luther college CD and its all acoustic, two acoustic guitars basically, no drums or anything. Ive noticed theres some notes in songs that cause one of my tweeters to "buzz", you guys probably know what im talking about. Is this sort of how a tweeter distorts? any reason only one would do it? is it blown? is it a tweeter trying to play bass notes or playing low high-frequency notes, if that makes sense?
i was thinking it was the tweeter shaking and the plastic casing wasnt snapped on right and it was buzzing but i heard the same noise from a tweeter on my guitar teachers stereo.
both songs use very full bassy acoustics so i was wondering if it was linked to bass.
thanks for the help

i dont think its the casing, i held it firmly.William from NOLA wrote:Does the output sound the same? I'm thinking it is the tweeter resonating (casing) or at least the area it's in.
If you hold it firmly, will it do it?
you know how when we Auto TA with the pioneer it adjusts the distance and how long it takes for the sound to get to the mic etc, im wondering if it put too much "balance" on the left tweeter and its pushing it too hard to something, know what i mean?
i dunno, i figured buzzing meant something, maybe it is just a rattle somewhere inside that i cant get to by holding the casing.
