u can believe what you want bro. and its not just power that blows subs. there is a reason i can take my 4000w amp and put it on a 1000w sub and run it daily without a problem. thats because i use high quality low distortion equipment. besides that its electronics it just fails it happens with everything. and if it does your fucked. just heed my warning.

I'm not tryin to sway you one way or another... I just believe in warning people... I tell people ALL the time that ebay is a great place to shop if you're buying from a known reputable source, but (as Bill pointed out) you get no warranty in the off chance something does go wrong...

This is me trying to sway you :p
so your looking for a deal on good equipment that will hit pretty hard...
How's this:
Xsite 2) XS1255's (800wrms each/ Dual 4ohm voices) $189.00(pair) + shipping
Xsite 1) XA1800 Monoblock amp (800wrms/ 2ohm stable) $199.00 + shipping
And I'll tell ya what... you get both and I'll throw in a 4 gauge amp wiring kit :attitude That's me trying to sway you :p

I love when people ask for advice, then procede to disagree and argue about it or completely ignore what they're advised, even though they ahve little to no understanding of what they're actually doing, then will come back later and blame those who advised them when things go horribly pear-shaped on them from not heeding the said advice.

Not that I'm talking about anybody in particular.
