no i havent tried anything. Its dark out now, and its about 11 degrees out. I set my gain to a point where I have no clipping anymore, but ill give it a shot tommorow and see what happends. If it still doesnt work then im leaving the gain set at waht it is now.
Can bass boost cause clipping as well? and is it safe to turn up a little bit if the bass is too weak? I've seen people with seperate black bass boost controllers that sit by there drivers seat that they crank up and it makes the bass sound like 10 times louder, is this the same as the bass boost on my amp? I was thinking about turning it up a little to make up for the lack of bass when I turned my gain down, but I dont want to blow my subs.
IT IS? HAHA just playing bro but u get what you pay for in this hobby. my shit is loud because i paid for it and i use only high end equipment. this is specifcally y we shy people away from cheaper setups, and tell them to save up for the good stuff.

Did you get the DMM or read the article yet? If it's too "weak" for your taste, then you either need a new enclosure or new equipment to suit.
I think your questions have already been answered. In one post in fact.
