how much do you charge for a regular ported box for two 12" circular subs, and how long would it take to make? I can get the dimensions on the box I have now if you really need them, but all I need is just a regular sized box.

Well I would like it to be loud, but I dont want it to get distorted. My amp only pushes out 500wattsRMS, so as loud as possible.

BryanX33 wrote:Alright, I think its set too a pretty good level now. I had it on 3 notches away from all the way up, and it was clipping (sounded like hollow bass). The DMM didnt work :/ but what I did was I put on a song with really low bass, put up my volume to the level I listen to in the car all the time, and just kept lowering the gain until I didnt hear anymore distortion or clipping. Only thing is, its not as loud as it was before :( but im sure that will be fixed when I get my hands on a good ported box
How did you set it up and where did you have the probes?

Batteries dead? It should read 0 or very close to 0 when it's not on anything.

idk but all I know is that I dont have any clipping anymore. Lowered the gain to about 12 o'clock, put the volume on 21, and no clipping. What I did to make up from the lack of bass from turnng down the gain was I put the fade to rear-2 (was on rear-0 originally), and put the bass up 2 instead of it being on zero. It's weird though idk if its bcuz I put the fade on 2, but my rear speakers dont even hit bass anymore. Not that I care cuz it doesnt matter to me, but I found it weird. It's almost as loud, but not quite there yet :D

haha dude she knows NOTHING about those things. She cant tell the amp apart from the subs and im not kidding. I asked her if I could use her credit card to purchase a ported box for my subs and she asked me why would I want my subwoofers to sit in a box. I think she thought it was a wooden box that I would actually put my subwoofers into and have them sit inside of it lol.
