Yup...
Same crankshaft forging as the LS7 motor, less throw though.
Thats cause shes super charged or turbo'ed...

Eh, it's a Corvette.
Sure, it's a nice looking car. If I want to look at one, I'll look at someone else's. I'm not looking for envy points from people - and sure as hell aren't looking for resentment.
But for $100K, I'd hope people looked at it and saw something different than just "a Corvette". :help:
And when people look at it, they expect it to be fast. Being fast isn't going to raise anyone's eyebrows.
My Civic isn't half as fast as that Corvette, but it's a lot more fun surprising people with my supercharger underhood in a car no one expects to be that quick.
And it's downright sad that my 11 year old Civic has a higher-grade interior quality than the Playskool interior they put in those Corvettes (although that's not nearly the shame that the interior in Cadillac SLR's is
). Hell, it's ironic that the interior in the HHR is classier than the 'Vette.
I don't know, I just don't see the appeal. For $100K, I want something exotic that people haven't seen before, that gets people excited, that surprises people - even if I have to make it myself by modifying something else.
Think about what you could modify into something beyond "exceptional" with a budget of $100K for car and modifications! :happy055:

I think they could upholster a Corvette in trash bags and noone would notice a difference.
You're probably going to pay $100k and get a cheapo crappy blower strapped on top with a half-decent intercooler, basically forcing you to go to a twin-screw or another supercharger if you want to make bigger power. Ahh, profit margins.
Dunno why they wouldn't have chosen to go turbo with it. Much more potential, and more appeal in the supercar market.

I never really thought that Corvettes were "Tasteless" interiors. I always thought they were much nicer and more comfortable than most others. I mean im a Die hard Viper Fan but lets face it sitting in one of those things is like being the bottom guy on a two man luge...

haters. name one thing American and i mean American that can catch it? and Jonathan i seem to remember you saying that the new ls2 motor was crap because they pushed it to the limit and they could never get anymore power out of it. i think 600 is 200 more hp than 400
and geo sure you could modify something to 100k but what are you gonna do for a warranty?
