cameras

Post by Darthness »

Okay, i've recently kind of been thinking about getting a new digital camera... a canon digital rebel xti... i've always liked photography and i think this may be a decent way to get into it. on top of that, i know its possible to sell pictures to websites that will resell it.. i wonder if i could justify $800 for a camera to have a little fun. so anyone have one of these cameras? i want a digital slr.

I use a Fuji S9000 bridge camera for digital work, but my 35mm is all Canon. T-90, and L-series FD lenses.
Canon makes excellent cameras, and the rebel is a good entry level/hobbiest DSLR.
If you plan to do semi-professional work, consider going to the EOS-1.
You'll need a good set of lenses, too. wide aperture 50mm, and a couple of zoom lenses to start.. shallow and long variety.
I worked as a photo editor when I was younger.

My in-laws have one and its GREAT I think it was really expensive though when they bought it, When I get the chance I'll ask them about it. I've seen the pictures that come from it and they're in great quality. I'm not sure what features and stuff it has because I'm too scared to mess with it.
