As the title states, I finally got the mustangs cleaned up and took some pictures of them. The 87 is just going to be for parts, so if any of you fella needs any parts let me know.

Black and Silver... I like!
I'm not much of a Ford guy, but it's definately a good solid start for ya.
So you painting before you get to all the mechanical or gonna try getting her running first?

I agree.....black and silver looks good.

Yeah if you painted before you get all of the engine and everything put in it would probably be a much better job. But then agian you run the risk of damaging the paint if you have it done before hand.

Am I the only one who noticed that even though that interior is a bit dated - Ford seems to be one car company that is putting in WORSE car interiors today than they did apparantly in 1986? :confused :

That Mustang is in nice shape - I'm assuming that the car's engine isn't in there, or else someone has snuck in a hydraulic suspension into your car... :p

Yeah, the motor and tranny are gone, thats why I bought the 87.. Between the two I have 400 bucks in them, not to shabby. I'm going to part the 87 out when I'm done with it, it still have a couple good parts.

I' been up since 9am yesterday morning, worked from 5pm last night to 7am this morning, Im tired... but I'm still going to go pull the motor and tranny out of the 87 before I got to bed... oh, and Im going to get a nice burnout video first! :happy055:

The kinda want to buy a set of gt 40 heads and intakes (upper and lower), toss in a nice ford racing e303 cam, and rebuild the bottom end to stock specs... But if I cant find the gt 40 parts I'll probably just have the stock e7's heads redone with light port and polish work... Which would be nice so I wouldnt have to change the car over to mass air...decisions, decisions.

I pulled the motor and tranny out yesterday. I went out to tear the motor apart today but didnt get very far due to feeling sick. I'm going to go visit ebay right now to see if I can find the gt 40x heads and intake... please!!!!!!
