My day just went to the shitter...litterally

Post by ZeroAccess »

Ok, so I'm sick as all get out I think I got the flu. I've been laying in bed all day hacking up colorful stuff...so anyways my fiance tells me that the laundry room over flooded just a tiny bit...and that a line came loose I'm like aight I'll fix it later...no big deal right. WRONG!! she clogged the damn main sewage line so instead of looking to see what was going on she just decided to go shopping while doing another load of wash and running the dishwasher. When she got home her and the baby took a bath. So now I have that much water in the bottom of my basement. I went swimming in it with the shop vac and sent her to get a roto rooter so HOPEFULLY I can fix it without hiring a costly plumber.

So yea as I post to you I'm in a pair of boxers with feces, pee, dirty dish water, dirty cloths water, outside water, and anything else you can think of litterally from head to toe...oh and I'm still throwing up/hacking crap up. So yay for freaking me :(

On a related story, anyone have any cheap tile they want to sell?
And garage flooring?

that happened to us... the sewage line got backed up and our toilets and bathtubs got backed up with some nasty stuff.. fortunently we didn't have to pay for it because it was underground (our mobile home community park maintaince bitch is responsible if its underground)

Well went to my parents to take a shower,
Went and bought a roto rooter thingy from wal-mart gonna try it again tommorow. I dunno the washermachine goes into the main septic line right..well I can put a lil bit of water into the drain and then it starts to bubble out right...I cut the water off and you hear air guggling noises and the water goes down. I can do that process over n over again. I tried to get a shop vac to suck and blow (alternated) hoping I could knock something loose. Went and got a dremel gonna hook the dremel to the roto rooter tommorow. I just wish I felt better freaking sucks probally gonna miss work tommorow to fight with this stupid drain!!!
I just don't want to call a plumber if I don't have to...dang

What about roto-rooter the company? Not sure if they have them down there, but its cheaper than a plumber and as the name implies they unclog drains...

Also its probably cheaper than missing a day of work...

My father-in-law has a huge septic system that is fed by the house (which isn't small has like 5 apartments and about 7 bathrooms) and then like 8 trailers and people clog it all the time. He bought a snake that fits onto the end of a drill then he also has one that's electic and a little longer but he's never had to hire a plumber...

Hey dude, just look at it this way, ur pretty much floating in a toilet then right? so theres really no need to go to the toilet to throw up. How much simpler can it be. still really f'n nasty, and unsanitary as all hell, but easy. lol

This may very well be the only chance you get to walk around naked and be able to pee/poop freely standing up.

You should so take it!

for a main floor drain those little hand or drill operated ones wont work, youve got to get a 5/8" with the spearhead attachments and saw attatchments and stuff......if youve got it cleaned to the point that you can see the drain and there is no standing water around it you can also try a bottle of liquid fire first but make sure to cover the drain after you poiur it in and pour it in slowly.....

Considering I lost my carpet, tile, and peices of the wall...
I am on the phone w/ house insurance people
I may just make a claim, trying to see which would be cheaper.

USAA doesn't allow me to make claims :( stupid people
