told you he was white :P older big bodies are quite popular here in the south... crown vics/their mecury sisters, caprices, cutlasses, caddilacs, buick, etc. Those cars generally get raised up with big wheels (20-26")... big system... nice interior..

I don't even live in the south, and those type of rides are all around town.

smoker wrote:yea hes white....and geo, i think you underestimate the popularity of the 4 dr. caprice amongst the urban population, since that car has been at the garage all the regular homies that tend to roll through have been pumped about it, saying they been wanting that body of car, i got one customer who even bought the wheelsfor the car he doesnt have yet, oh and all the rockers are on order being replaced with chrome pieces, the owner is a tattoo artist at the most popular shop in town and has the expendable cash to do what he wants with it.....4 doors are definitly making a comeback in the hood down here, everyone wants these things, or the oldsmobile or buick variety of them.....
Anything you can buy for under $100 is "popular" in the ghetto, isn't it? :p

I wouldn't say that leaves me "underestimating the popularity" of the car... ;)

We have been getting more and more older 2 and 4 door vehicles(late 70's-late 80's) vehicles into our bays lately as well. Just the popular thing to have right now.
