We got about 6 inches of sleet, and about 2-3" inches of snow on top of the sleet.

The roads here are terrible. I-44 was a solid sheet of ice, there was wreck after wreck, mostly because modot wasnt doing there job.

I was driving down the service road and glanced over at the highway to see a jeep fishtail in front a semi, the semi then t-bone the jeep which sent the jeep flying forward (but still sideways), then the semi nailed it again but this time the both went to the ditch... I pulled over to the side of the road and turn my flashers on to call 911 but Im not sure if the people in the jeep made it or not, trucker seemed ok..

But yeah, I was over at my cousins house when my grandma callls, shes crying and says she thinks shes having a heart attack and needs to go to the hospital. I run out to the truck (2wd explorer) and while trying to get out of the driveway I get hung up, it took 10-15 mins to get it rocked free.

Then when I get over there she had called 911 and when the ambulance came they got stuck in her driveway. So after 10 mins of them spinning around in her driveway the fire dept comes and pulls the ambulance out, they almost slid into the ditch in the process.

Now the hospital in about 10 miles away and they're worried about making it so they ask me if I had 4wd and if I did would I take her, I told them I didnt but had to go right past the hospital on the way home so I would try taking her.

Turn out my grandma was having on of her attention spells, which seems to happen more and more often. She usually does this every couple of months, she gets the emergency personal there and they check her out and find nothing wrong then BAM, shes all better. As bad as it sounds shes cried wolf some many times it to the point where half the family fight over whos going the next time she has a "spill".

That's crazy.

Your grandma is the exact opposite of mine. Mine never wants to go to the hospital or anything. One day around 5am, she slipped in the tub and ruptured her eye. She thinks she passed out for a little bit, but she waited until 8am or so call my mom for a "ride to the doctor". She didn't want to "alarm or wake up anyone". She's fine and has a fake eye now, but still is crazy.
