woot, interview

Post by Darthness »

So i've been applying all over the place trying toget a new job, get out of micky d's. Anyway, i have an interview setup for 10:00AM tommorow morning at a local walmart, which would be a decent step up from micky d's, imo. more money, hopefully overall a better place to work. and the floor mats in my car, my clothes, and me in general won't get as dirty :)

Anyway, yeah, lets hope i get this job.. i'm fairly confidnt that i'll have it no problem, but i always try and not get my hopes up too high because that usually ends up in negative outcome.. yeah, but i'm updating my resume and plan on wearing a tie :o . hopefully that'll give me an edge... imo, that shows that i'm not just fucking around and am seriously looking for a job.

so go me. everyone hope i can get a new job :> any tips for the interview?

Yep, wearing a shirt and tie would probably help quite a bit. It will show them that you are serious, but a suit and tie would probably be overkill. Understand that most people probably show up to a interview at Wal-Mart in jeans and a t-shirt. Good luck with the interview. I hope to find a new job soon guy I know thinks he can get me into Lowes.

Take a long and winding BM...that way you don't have gas, you are relaxed and not puckered, and your eyes will not look like shit is filling them up. Unless of course you have brown eyes, in which case, you would have three

Good luck with the interview man. Make sure they understand your not just looking to be seasonal help. They are really busy right now and hire a shit load of poeple for the Christmas season. I am not sure how there process works but just make sure your not going to get canned after New Years. Hope everything works out for ya.

My fiance works at wal-mart at the moment. She's currently working there full time and another job part time. Anyways, she started at a very competitive salary for the area 8.85 and since there she has had two promotions (under 2months) and is making ..I forget now but 10+ dollars an hr. I'm hoping she'll finish school and make bank so I can retire but at the rate she's going she may just end up running a wal-mart which wouldn't be so bad.
