Tool cd
Finally got the new TOOL cd, not sure when it came out, but anyways. Anybody who likes rock, and has a decent stereo needs to buy this cd!! Then after you put it in your deck, firmly grasp the volume knob, or depress the volume button, and effin crank it all the way up!!! This cd has an amazing sound to it, maybe all there cd's do....I don't know. I was never a huge TOOL fan, until now. EFFIN AWESOME!!!

I think that was intentional on some stuff, but I hear silence when there is silence...lol
No Joe, I didn't hear it in chris' corvette, I put in my own cd. I didn't realize what it was at the time, darnit.

What the hell does me driving a Saturn have to do with the fact it was a poorly recorded CD? I love the CD and have probably been a TOOL fan longer than anyone on this board, I'm just saying that at some points it is truely poorly recorded. I can still enjoy some songs and listen for their sound quality.
Take Wings for Marie (Part 2)for example. In the beginning you should only hear bass guitar, not a loud white noise as well.
And seriously, the whole "you drive a Saturn" shit is getting old.

Justin, I agree with you, unfortunately with how cheap everyone wants cd's recording cost and editing have been cut.
Tool's older stuff sounded SOOO much cleaner than this record. I do agree with Joey that the white noise is intended in some areas but you can hear blips and what not that seem to just go completely against the grain.
Overall though, Tool is an amazing band and all of their cd's have an Eklektic (sp?) sound.
