my first ticket was like 48 in a 30...it was an accident i guess... this road leads out to the country from town, and i came back and was coasting and went below the speed limit a bit, so i put the gas pedal down and didnt look at the speedometer when i was doing, i just held it down til i got to a comfortable speed, and i guess i was too comfortable, lol... i didnt realize i was speeding though, didnt think i was gong that fast.. ohwell..

Dude, your going almost double the speed limit at 16 and right away you were like "I didn't do anything wrong" thats sorta why you got "bashed".

I mean seriously, I got busted doing double the speed limit and I really don't want to have to be inconvienced by having to go to court when I was going to go party. I mean hell I'm 16 so it doesn't matter because I own a civic and can drive circles around everyone at my school. I'm a mad drifter on the Interstate at like 100mph+ no one can keep up.

Thats what I read when I went back and read your post.
I didn't bash you just simply said at 16 years old double the speed limit your going to lose you liscense for a while. Thats pretty much what everyone else said.

i'm not perfect, i'm just not dumb enough to go double the speed limit.

Have I gotten a ticket before? Yes sir I have... Breaking traction + ticket = lesson learned...

The cop pulled me over and asked me if I knew why he pulled me over. I simple replied yeah, because I deserved it. He laughed and said is there any reason as to why I shouldnt give you a ticket. I thought about it for a minute and said no, I dont guess there is... He said he well thanks for being honest and continued to write me my ticket...

I went to the court house and paid the ticket (60 bucks) and waited for my insurance to raise, it never did... The ticket never showed up on my record...

About 6 months later I was driving through town when a cop passed me and busted a u-e and came flying up behind me with his lights on... To my surpise its the same cop that pulled me over 6 months before. He asked me if I knew why he pulled me over... I honestly didnt know, so I told him so... He asked me if my dash lights were working, which they werent... At that time I thought I might of been speeding because it was hard to see the gauges... He laughed and said oh, thats what I thought, the dash lights and tail lights are on the same fuses on these trucks, and your tail lights are out... Then he asked me about my truck (I had a 1st gen ranger at the time I was fixing up), then started telling me about his malibu (which I had seem before, nice)... He told me to turn my flashers on and he'd follow me hope... I still see him all the time, nice guy...

The point is, pay the ticket and learn a lesson....

If I was the cop I would of threw you in jail... Or maybe gave you a little bump on the back tire just to insure you were never on the road again... Well, after they scrapped you up that his...

Its called a race track people, thats where you race around, not on the street where you could take out a family in a caravan...

As a matter of factor I rarely speed, and if I do it might be like 5 over on the interstate, and thats only because I dont really notice it.
