Goodbye Stang Hello GTO!!!! 56K BEWARE

Post by Chris from MI »

Well I finally decided to get rid of the Mustang and get me a new ride. After looking around for a while I decided on this:

Its a 2004 with only 10K on it. It is super clean and has never seen snow........yet. I have only had it since Monday but so far I couldn't be happier. The interior is very nice for a pontiac sports car. Unlike the Firebird and the Grand Prix and such, It doesn't feel cheap to me like they do IMO. It is the 04 so it only has th LS1 in it but still puts out 350HP and 365 ft-lbs of torque. It is still pretty quick though.
My only problem is with the trunk. As you can see in the pic it is very small. They actually have the fuel tank behind that wall in there. So I am going to have to re-think my system for sure. If anyone has any ideas feel free to throw them out there. I was thinking about going with a one sub setup though.
One other problem I will have now is my money is going to be split between audio upgrades and performance upgrades. Well just wanted to share the excitement. :happy055: :sm29: :dancing

yeah, theres basically a penis tax for car insurance. if you have a penis and you're under 25, you'r egoing to get a high insurance rate regardless of what you drive or your record. When i get my new car i'm going to try and get insurance as a female :) "i swear i accidentally checked female!" :sm29:

The key to getting around the HP and young age issue, is to get yourself a muscle car. I have a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda that puts around 425HP/450TQ, working on raising that a little bit, and I only pay about $140 a year probably less now since I just turned 25. Simple, buy something that came with a leaning tower of power, 10 pts for anyone who knows what engine I'm talking about, then go crazy with a V8.

BTW, cool new car I really like the new GTO's eventhough they did not go the retro look. Really, like the New Mustang and the New Dodge Challenger that is coming out.
