Camping!!

Post by joeyc »

Going camping all weekend, no married women allowed(unless they aren't married to any of the campers)!!! lol Here I thought we were going to rough it and I found out my cousins dad is going to bring his RV as well! I proclaimed that I will not set foot into the RV.....unless its raining or we are watching a football game :p . Anyways, I am excited about it and felt like sharing.

Where are you guys camping at? Don't go to Skiatook, it is expensive as hell there to camp. I love camping, I was raised in southeastern OK, so we camped out all the time on Broken Bow lake. Hunting and fishing, I would give up car audio for a self sufficient life revolving around those two things.

You may just find yourself in that camper if it doesn't warm up, a little cold to camp if your not hunting IMO.

Well actually we usually go to skiatook, but there is a burn ban in osage county right now. We decided on Oolagah lake, lots of camping areas to choose from on that lake, big damn lake!! Plus the fishing is better at oolagah off of the bank, not bringing a boat.

Really, bank fishing is pretty good at Oolagah huh? I don't have a boat yet, and I fish like every week, so good bank fishing is what I desire. I will have to try out Oolagah. I hear Claremore has a pretty good lake also.

yes claremore lake is nice, lots of croppie but most are under sized. Bank fishing at oolagah is hit and miss, but we have a couple pretty good fishermen going so we should be able to scout out a good spot.
