CAF down

Haeds up CAF is down... WHo knows for how long, wont connect to the server.

They have always had server issues. Many people complaining about it... Maybe the owner Lee decided to just axe it like he did another forum he owned/operated (operated is used rather loosely),

It came back up about an hr ago, then the busy server message and now it's back to not loading again. Are you talking about P4B btw?

Apparently Lee is cleaning up some. I dunno. I managed to get a few posts off before if crashed again.

At least it's given me an excuse to look at other forums and such. I think I'll like this one. :)

No kidding, I know we have server problems every once in awhile, but I don't think I've ever been able to connect to CAF more then once! I always get that server busy error.

It always good to steep out of your normal realm. Get a taste of other places.

CAF happens to be where I noticed Elevation. I never heard of them until I seen a post there. Im sure nobody here heard of them either until they started reading the stuff here... I kinda like to think I brought Elevation up here. I helped plant the seed and push it up. Then you see good guys Like Justin now working for them as a rep and sales. Bill who is a dealer, Terry (is was?) and many others.

Looks at Fi. We would of never heard about it unless others ventured to other boards and brought back that word of mouth info.

Ascendant...

Sheesh who else?

If we limit ourselves only to what we find by google, well this place will die out fast...

Theres a server mainteanance error deal up. Appartently something about some sort of attack...

lol @ lee. Whoever he is, he is the king of fucktards- thats for sure. It really looks like at one point he had a good setup going. Different manufacturers stoping by and getting to highlight themselves for that period of time...

IMO I wouldnt mind trying that here. Problem is most of the new leading edge/breaking ground companies always have their own little forums elsewhere...

Not down, CAF was hit with a Denial of Service attack from some cyber hippie out there.

I didn't get a "server busy" message, I've got a screen that tells me something like Marty Moose "Sorry, CAF is down right now for maintenance work to clean up from a DoS attack."

Lee isn't the fastest, so it probably won't be up again until tomorrow.
