Am I Underpaid?
Am I Underpaid?
Recently, a manager I work with said he asked the boss in a meeting "Isn't it about time for Jason to get a raise." That guy said we gave him one 2 months ago. Now is it bad that I get paid so little, that I didn't even realize I got a raise. I went from $5.25 to $5.50/hr and I was excited, because this is the first raise I got since getting out of the Army, why did I move back to Ohio. BTW, I deliver pizzas so most of my money is made off of tips. I usually don't even look at my check I just sign it and then deposit with my tip money, so I had no clue I got the raise.
Anyway hope everyone else is as excited for me as I am and can

your in the wrong line of work to make any money, i make less now working for myself than i have in the last 10 years, i have no college and about 10 years ago i started at home depot making 10 an hour and left at 15 and before working for myself i was making 17 an hour installing and tinting windows........now let me say that even the 17 dollar an hour job, while decent money is still not the kind of money i want to make and in todays world its kind of a miserable income because it doesnt really change your lifestyle at all..............
Actually, where I live there are times my tips and mileage has not covered the gas and stuff. There are a ton of people on government assistance that could work and are to lazy to work, and to cheap to tip. I along with the rest of the drivers may get 2-3% in tips. BTW, rich people are the cheapest and I hate them.
Before, I got out of the Army I was making around $18.33 all together. Best part is I didn't work, I had a serious back and knee injury for my last 8 months in the Army, free healthcare was great might not have worked but was in physical therapy for about 7.5 months which I am sure is not cheap to pay for myself, along with MRI's and having a Orthopedic specialist as my doctor.

I know the town this guy lives in as I used to live there when I was young. Actually my one grandma lives there is some trailer park behind an RV/Camper sales place...
This town is out in the middle of nowhere. There is some industry there, but as to be expected they dont pay to much, as they are in the middle of no where.
Your best bet is to get in Gerstenslager or Whirlpool. WP makes more, Gersten only makes like $12-14/hr I hear. Get a job in Sandusky... or move...
Clyde Ohio is just a crap town filled with more gangstas than any other joke town in Ohio...
If you were a Machinist I could have you a job tomorrow making $15/hr...
