Amp shuts off when in CD mode.

I'm running a Kenwood 500 HU, kac8452 amp, rca cables. The tuner, sirius plays just fine. But when switching over to CD, first it "reads" the cd then starts playing the track but no sound is coming out from no speakers. Is there a feature on HU that I'm missing to get playback from the CD? Thanks!

u most likely have your remote wire connected to the power antenna wire on your cd player reconnect it to the remote wire or the blue with white stripe wire

aww hell....didn't even think of that because I looked at the HU diagram made sure that I spliced the right wire....obvisiously not. Let me check this out, get back with ya.
