know this sounds old but has anyone used or heard hifonics bx 15d4 subs

Plenty of us are well known in Hifonics, what about it, the sub is a 15" dual 4ohm 700wrms.

ya they have pretty decent stuff. i use to be a dealer but i dropped them because you can buy their stuff off ebay cheaper than a dealer can get it.

ty i have a 84 z28 i had 2 15w0 jl i loved them i was looking for something new i heard some hifonis 10 liked them so iam thing of getting the 15's do you think they will be as good or almost as good iam also getting the hifonics amp bxi1606d will this combo pound hard any help on this subject will help

the sounds and the spl will be dependant on the box as for a good setup thats pretty good. i have played with the brutus subs for a while now but ive only tested the round 12s and the square 12's but both preformed well and were sufficently loud. they sounded pretty good for having them in an spl box also.

they will be in a sealed box box made for the z for my old jl's think it was 2 cube feet do you think i need a ported box

ported box in my opinion ive never tested them sealed but im sure they would be fine.
